From security technology to hands-on approaches we do everything within our power to prevent unwanted entities from accessing personal information and data about the businesses we service.
Below are some of the ways we protect your identity and your purchases and assets.
Our receiving clerks obtain training and education regarding privacy protocols and basic security measures. Packages are received by staff and handling is kept to a minimum. We try to send all packages back out within 48 hours. Packages are inspected for tampering or damage that may have occurred during transportation and any findings are reported back to our managers and the customer so the appropriate action can be taken.
Packages are not opened by our staff. If a customer does request that we open and inspect contents certain procedures are implemented. Even then packages are only opened in specific designated areas that are accessed by limited authorized personnel. Packages are opened and contents are photographed or scanned into our system and the images are sent to the customer. Once that step is completed, the contents are returned to the original packaging and then stored in a secure location in our facility to await the customers’ instructions.
Information about our customers is never shared with our associates or vendors and most certainly it is never released to an outside 3rd party unless under an Order from the Court.
All scanning of customer mail and package contents is only performed in secured, limited access areas in our facilities. We use the latest scanning equipment available to obtain the clearest, high-quality images possible. Customers are able to access all scanned information under their unique online account login.
Receiving And Storage
Our staff master receiving protocols that are aimed at reducing inventory loss and protection. All packages are received at the time of delivery and any issues that are discovered are made known to our customers right away.
Shredding And Recycling
We recycle a large percentage of our waste. Each year we aim to increase the previous year’s numbers. Our company participates in several recycling programs and is very conscious of our impact on the environment.
We evaluate our processes to look for ways to reduce waste and we place a great emphasis on paperwork reduction. When we can create an electronic process to eliminate a paper-based one, we do so without hesitation.
We place a great amount of faith in our employees. All employees go through a vigorous screening process prior to being hired. They are chosen for possessing certain skills and attributes. Our company believes in ongoing training in both specific and general business practices. We provide coaching and feedback throughout their entire tenure with us.
